Sensitivity of Phenology to Temperature and Precipitation are Associated

This is pretty cool. The plot below shows our sensitivity indices (standardized) for >250 species plotted against one another with a one-to-one line. I am anxious to figure out if there are any particular functional groups that tend to fall either above or below the line (be more temperature or precipitation responsive). Also, as one moves up and to the right, the mean first flowering day of the year increases.
